Experience

Fabián Díaz is a senior manager in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) in the areas of Companies and Corporate Services as well as Business Process Outsourcing. He is responsible for the accounting and tax administration of companies engaging in offshore commercial activities and companies with local and foreign investments.

He advises local and foreign companies and participates, on teams including FERRERE Abogados legal practitioners, in due diligence processes in the context of company acquisitions, as well as advice on a variety of equity transactions and corporate reorganizations.

He also has broad BPO experience specializing in trust management, financial statement preparation, and payroll.

Finally, he has also focused on securities market regulation, compliance issues, best know-your-client practices, and prevention of asset laundering and terrorism financing.

He teaches General Accounting at the School of Economics and Administration of Universidad de la República, and Advanced Accounting at the Business School of Universidad Católica del Uruguay, and is a CPA FERRERE instructor for inhouse and external courses on IFRS.
